We’ve recently seen John and Edward Grimes, aka Jedward, appear alongside moneysupermarket.com’s very own Haggle Hero Omid Djalili in the latest  travelsupermarket.com adverts. In the ad we see the twins enjoying their holiday relaxing by a pool, wearing identical outfits and drinking identical cocktails. But in reality how do the Jedward boys really spend their holidays and where do they go? We recently caught up with John and Edward to find out…

TS – do you always go on holiday together or have you ever been on holiday apart?
Jedward – Yes we always go on holidays together so that we can experience together. We could never imagine going on holidays separately.

TS – Do you have matching swimwear and luggage? And who has the heaviest suitcase?
Jedward - We always have matching swimwear, all our clothes match. It’s in case we get lost so people can find us in the ocean. John has the heaviest suitcase because he has to pack all our shoes. We share cases though.

TS – Do you both like the same things from a holiday?
Jedward – We both like full on adventurous holidays. We like to do outdoor things, going to the beach and swimming.

TS – What would you do if your twin had a holiday romance?
Jedward – I would tell him to never contact the person again! Just kidding, I would just go surfing instead. Girls would never come between us.

TS – Where did you holiday as children?
Jedward – We’ve been to Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, New York and Bulgaria on holiday.

TS – Of the destinations you’ve visited, which has been your favourite?
Jedward – We filmed the travelsupermarket advert in Cape Town and it was the best trip we had ever been on! We went to the top of Table Mountain at sunset and took pictures of ourselves like Ninjas!

TS – Where is still left on your holiday wish lists?
Jedward – We want to go to Japan and most of Asia – basically every country that we have never been to! We also want to go snowboarding.

TS – Is there anywhere you’ve been and not enjoyed?
Jedward – No because we always bring the fun and the energy, it doesn’t matter where we are.

TS – Do you get recognised outside of the UK and Ireland?
Jedward – Yes, when we went to New York and Orlando we got recognised by loads of people… We shut down Times Square because everyone recognised our hair! We were like angels walking around with black umbrellas!

TS – Which X Factor contestant past or present would you most like to go on holiday with?
Edward – Leona Lewis because she wouldn’t talk too much and me and John would have all the attention.

TS – And which X Factor contestant past or present would you least like to go on holiday with?
Jedward – Wagner, because he scares us and we would probably get stopped at security.

TS – Which X Factor judge past or present would you like to sit next to on a flight?
Jedward – I would like to sit next to Simon Cowell, because we wouldn’t have to open the window blind as his bright smile would brighten up our life. Also because he travels everywhere on his private jet. We would keep him entertained for the whole flight, he loves us so much he just can’t admit it publicly. We are like the children he never had!

TS – And which X Factor judge past or present would you least like to sit next to on a flight?
Jedward – Dannii Minogue cause she would have her baby and he would probably get sick on us and we are not sick bags.

TS – Do you take hair gel in your hand luggage and if so, do you have issues getting through security? Also, do you have to buy back up gel in the airport?
Jedward – We always have to check in a full suitcase just with our hair products. This hair is a work of modern art and people expect to see it so we can’t disappoint. Our hair is a tourist attraction, its like the 9^th wonder of the world!

TS – Do you buy souvenirs when you travel? If so, what are the best and worst souvenirs you’ve picked up and who were they for?.
Jedward – We bought diamonds in Cape Town for our Mum. We also got Harry Potter wands in the theme park in Orlando
