He is flying out to Cologne on Thursday so the pair can spend more time together.

They met when Lena, who won the song contest last year, turned up at their hotel in the song's host city Dusseldorf and Edward and brother John staged a pillow fight with her for the TV cameras.

Afterwards they all went out for lunch, then they spent time with her on her tour bus and then the brothers besieged her with flowers!

Finally Edward and Lena who performed 'Taken By A Stranger' at Eurovision, had some alone time and shared a kiss.

He added: 'I don't want her to read this article and think I'm crazy. But I'm in there!'

Edward is convinced the long-distance relationship can work, as they can keep in touch on Skype.

Meanwhile, brother John reckons despite coming eighth with song Lipstick in the contest, Jedward are set to storm Europe. He said: 'There's so much interest.'

The twins are also using their new profile to raise money for charity KidsOut and they urged fans to post films of themselves scoffing Oreo biscuits for the online fund-raising Double Stuff Oreo Lick Race.
